Personal Banker I

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote cordial relationships with customers to ensure maximum satisfaction.
• Provide accurate information regarding banking products, services, and account statuses.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts following operational procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Suggest new banking products and make qualified referrals to specialized banking partners.
• Assist customers with both in-person and digital banking options to improve their banking experience.
• Perform teller duties, including maintaining a cash drawer, processing deposits, and handling loan payments.
• Consult customers on consumer loan options and process applications with accuracy.
• Execute branch operational duties and participate in marketing campaigns to grow the customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of banking experience.
• Proven record of outstanding customer service and effective listening skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency using banking platforms and common office software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence others.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
