Personal Banker I

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote cordial relationships with customers to ensure prompt inquiry resolution and maximum satisfaction
• Inform customers of banking products and services, including digital banking options and consumer loan products
• Open and service new and existing accounts while ensuring all required documentation is accurately received and archived
• Perform teller duties such as maintaining a cash drawer, accepting deposits, cashing checks, and processing loan payments
• Make qualified referrals to specialized banking partners including Wealth, Mortgage, and Commercial services
• Ensure strict compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to protect customer confidentiality
• Assist with branch operational duties and marketing campaigns to grow the customer base

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years of banking experience
• Proven record of outstanding customer service and effective listening skills
• Proficiency using banking platforms and common office software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and influence skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
