Personal Banker I

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote cordial relationships with customers to ensure maximum satisfaction.
• Provide accurate information regarding banking products, services, and account statuses.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts following operational procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Suggest new banking products and make qualified referrals to partners in Wealth, Mortgage, and Commercial services.
• Assist customers in understanding digital banking options to increase technology penetration.
• Perform teller duties, including maintaining a cash drawer, processing deposits, and handling loan payments.
• Consult customers on consumer loan options and process applications with high accuracy.
• Support branch operational duties and marketing campaigns as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of banking experience.
• Proficiency in using banking platforms and common office software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven record of outstanding customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
