Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers by providing tailored financial advice and guidance.
• Conduct needs-based assessments to identify opportunities in everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business solutions.
• Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and build new community relationships.
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies.
• Promote digital and self-serve banking options to enhance the customer experience.
• Manage risk and compliance by following regulatory requirements and identifying suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with branch team members to achieve business objectives and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completed registration to sell investment products as required by the jurisdiction.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Strong working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business needs.
• Proficiency in using digital banking tools, tablets, and online applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written language skills in both Mandarin and English is preferred.
