Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by identifying customer needs and providing tailored advice on banking, investments, and lending solutions
• Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects through needs-based assessments to grow loyalty
• Recommend financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, home financing, and small business solutions
• Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to improve their experience
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio
• Build new relationships within the community by generating appointments and outreach

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid registration to sell investment products as required by the jurisdiction
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations
• Strong knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business solutions
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications
