About the Company

Mio BPA provides personal assistance services to help individuals lead independent and fulfilling lives. This specific role is for a personal assistant to a young man living near Kongshavn.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and personal assistance in daily activities
• Assist with physical transfers between wheelchair and walking aids
• Support the user during physical training and rehabilitation
• Monitor and respond to epilepsy seizures following provided training
• Maintain a calm and stable presence in demanding situations
• Engage in social activities such as music, singing, and film

Requirements

• Calm, caring, and patient personality
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
• Good physical strength for assisting with mobility
• Willingness to learn new communication methods (sound, signs, body language)
• Good Norwegian language skills
• Non-smoker
• Not allergic to cats
• Must have a clean police certificate
• Age 23 or older (applicants under 23 may be considered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in health and care sectors
• Manual Class B driver's license and access to a personal car
• Students in health and care studies are highly encouraged to apply
