Person in Charge

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall service and ensure the highest standards of care for residents
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement policies and procedures
• Manage, mentor, and supervise the staff team, including appraisals and team meetings
• Respond to complaints in line with organizational policies
• Coordinate appointments in liaison with multi-disciplinary teams
• Develop and review person-centered care plans, health promotion, and risk assessments
• Support residents in maintaining choice, control, and social relationships

Requirements

• QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant Allied Healthcare discipline
• Minimum of three years of experience in a management or supervisory role within the Health or Social Care sector
• Qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 NFQ)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
