About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall service and ensure the highest standards of care for residents
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement policies and procedures
- Manage, mentor, and supervise the staff team, including appraisals and team meetings
- Respond to complaints in line with organizational policies
- Coordinate appointments in liaison with multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop and review person-centered care plans, health promotion, and risk assessments
- Support residents in maintaining choice, control, and social relationships
Requirements
- QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant Allied Healthcare discipline
- Minimum of three years of experience in a management or supervisory role within the Health or Social Care sector
- Qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 NFQ)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
