About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall service, ensuring high standards for residents and staff management
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement policies for best practice
- Respond to and report complaints according to organizational procedures
- Provide leadership, mentorship, supervision, and appraisals for the staff team
- Coordinate appointments in liaison with multi-disciplinary teams
- Ensure high quality of life through person-centered care plans and risk assessments
- Support resident choice, citizenship, and maintenance of social relationships
- Regularly review and update care plans in accordance with regulations
Requirements
- QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or relevant Allied Healthcare discipline
- Minimum of three years experience in a management or supervisory role within Health or Social Care
- Qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum Level 6 NFQ)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
