Person in Charge - Disability Service

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall service, ensuring high standards for residents and staff management
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and implement policies for best practice
• Respond to and report complaints according to organizational procedures
• Provide leadership, mentorship, supervision, and appraisals for the staff team
• Coordinate appointments in liaison with multi-disciplinary teams
• Ensure high quality of life through person-centered care plans and risk assessments
• Support resident choice, citizenship, and maintenance of social relationships
• Regularly review and update care plans in accordance with regulations

Requirements

• QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or relevant Allied Healthcare discipline
• Minimum of three years experience in a management or supervisory role within Health or Social Care
• Qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum Level 6 NFQ)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
