Permitting & NOC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, compile, and submit all permit applications and NOC requests to Abu Dhabi authorities
• Manage submissions across authorities including DOT, ADDC, ADSSC, DM, ADDED, TASAREEH, and Miral
• Operate authority portals and digital submission platforms proficiently
• Coordinate with design consultants to obtain required drawings, calculations, and reports
• Proactively follow up with authority contacts to track submission status and expedite approvals
• Maintain a comprehensive NOC and permit tracker
• Review authority comments and coordinate prompt responses with technical teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact with Abu Dhabi authorities
• Provide regular status reports to the Project Director and PMO

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in permitting and NOC management in Abu Dhabi
• Hands-on experience with TASAREEH, ADDC, ADSSC, DOT, and DM digital portals
• Proven track record with large-scale residential or infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for basic drawing mark-up
• Valid UAE driving licence
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field
• Professional membership with a recognized engineering or planning body
• Prior experience on Yas Island or with Miral authority processes
• Fluency in Arabic
