About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for permitting, licensing, and regulatory compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions
  • Analyze permitting requirements and manage permit acquisition processes to support project schedules
  • Interpret local, state, and federal regulations affecting construction, electrical, and infrastructure projects
  • Develop and maintain permitting procedures, compliance controls, and documentation standards
  • Manage the company's business licensing program and coordinate with regulatory agencies
  • Oversee technician background checks, customer onboarding, and vendor qualification
  • Partner with Legal and Risk Management teams to obtain Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
  • Manage the company RAMP purchasing card program and fleet registration activities
  • Maintain accurate records to support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or construction administration
  • Demonstrated experience managing permitting across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong knowledge of business licensing, inspections, and governmental agency procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or Project Management
