About the role
Responsibilities
- Issue, monitor, and close work permits including hot work, confined space, electrical, and excavation permits
- Review permit requests to ensure risk assessments and safety control measures are in place
- Ensure all permits comply with HSE policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and HSE teams before work begins
- Maintain accurate PTW records, logs, and reports for site activities
- Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with permit conditions and safety procedures
- Support the HSE team in promoting safe work practices and PTW awareness
Requirements
- High School or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in PTW systems, HSE, or construction safety roles
- Strong knowledge of permit-to-work systems and high-risk work permits
- Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and risk assessment processes
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
