Permit Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage new sales tax permit applications and existing permit verifications
• Prepare, send, and submit Power of Attorney forms on behalf of clients
• Coordinate permit closures with onboarding and accounting teams
• Communicate with US state agencies and clients to ensure accurate permit information
• Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the permit process
• Share permit and account verification details with Sales Tax Accountants for filing

Requirements

• Excellent English proficiency (written and verbal)
• Experience with project management and/or contract application
• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• Comfortable initiating phone calls and following up persistently with agencies
• Strong troubleshooting and solution-finding abilities
• Proficiency with software tools for tracking projects and client information
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently
• High attention-to-detail and strong time management skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently

• Accounting or finance background
