Permit Controller

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and track all permit applications submitted by construction teams
• Maintain daily permit registers and update status trackers
• Prepare and verify permit packages for submission to Operations and Permit Authorities
• Monitor permit validity periods, renewals, suspensions, and closures
• Coordinate permit collection and distribution to site teams
• Maintain detailed records for Work Permits, Isolation Certificates, Gas Test Certificates, Excavation Permits, Confined Space Entry, Hot Work, and Electrical Isolation
• Issue daily permit reports and ensure all records are properly filed and auditable
• Support permit close-out activities and coordinate with site supervisors to ensure permit conditions are implemented
• Highlight pending approvals and permit bottlenecks to the Permit Coordinator

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in permit administration within oil and gas projects
• Familiarity with Qatar Energy PTW requirements
• Strong organizational and record-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPC projects
• Previous experience working with QatarEnergy or in Dukhan
• Experience as QCON personnel
