Permit Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify applicable environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and reporting requirements
• Provide regulatory support for active acquisitions and implement changes to programs and policies
• Work with internal and external operations teams to ensure permit conditions and sampling/testing requirements are met
• Meet with regulatory agencies regarding permitting, regulatory actions, and reporting
• Partner with the Government Affairs team on the development of new regulations or legislation changes
• Manage notices of violations (NOVs) to mitigate impact to the company
• Ensure the environmental management system is accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science, healthcare, or environmental discipline
• 5+ years of experience managing internal and external customer relationships
• Experience with environmental regulations including EPA and DOT
• Knowledge of environmental regulation and compliance management

Preferred Qualifications

• Attainment of one or more Environmental certifications
• Ability to analyze customer situations and act upon needs effectively
• Strong decision-making skills considering risks and alternative solutions
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
