Permian Development Analytics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analytics, including problem framing, data acquisition, workflow development, deployment, and adoption into the development process
• Apply advanced analytics techniques to inventory management, development plan optimization, and production surveillance & optimization
• Design, develop, and institute automated workflows utilizing Python, Databricks, and Machine Learning
• Identify and resolve analytics gaps within the existing development process
• Mentor engineers and analysts within the team on data analytics best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role
• Experience in Upstream development
• Proficiency with Python and Databricks
• Experience with core ML libraries, data engineering, and ML Ops fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with unconventional or Permian Basin development
• Upstream Subsurface or engineering experience combined with strong data and programming skills
