About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough periodontal examinations and assessments to diagnose gum diseases
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with periodontal issues
- Perform periodontal treatments such as scaling, root planing, soft tissue grafts, and dental implant surgery
- Educate patients about periodontal maintenance and oral hygiene best practices
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay updated on the latest advances in periodontics and apply best practices in patient treatment
Requirements
- Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited institution
- Completion of a residency in Periodontics
- Valid dental license and board certification in Periodontics
- Proven experience in performing surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
