Periodontist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive periodontal evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
• Perform surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, including scaling, root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive dental care
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in periodontics and incorporate best practices into clinical care

Requirements

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of a residency program in Periodontics
• Current and valid dental licensure and board certification in Periodontics
• Proven clinical experience in periodontal diagnosis and treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
