Perfumery Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform perfume weighing according to perfumer formulas following good manufacturing practices
• Prepare initial applications of fragrant oils for internal evaluations to support the creation process
• Produce oil reference samples to serve as quality control for production
• Execute simple calculations related to formula quantities
• Prepare and deliver requested samples to internal teams and application laboratories
• Manage administrative activities including documentation, tracking, and traceability
• Manage raw materials by ensuring proper labeling, shelf-life monitoring, and contamination prevention
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness and stock management
• Strictly apply safety, hygiene (SHE), and sustainability rules

Requirements

• Degree in chemistry, perfumery, or a related scientific field
• Experience in a laboratory or industrial environment (perfumery, cosmetics, chemistry, or food industry)
• Strong knowledge of safety rules and the handling of sensitive materials
• High level of precision, rigor, and attention to detail in formula execution
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with tracking tools and administrative management
