Performance Modeling and Optimization Engineering Director

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end silicon performance and design execution, including pre- and post-silicon stages.
• Lead system-level performance attainment and hardware/software optimizations for complex SoCs and accelerators.
• Manage a global organization of 30+ engineers, providing technical and organizational leadership.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across architecture, modeling, design, validation, and software teams.
• Establish and evolve methodologies for power and performance modeling, validation, and silicon bring-up.
• Identify and mitigate technical and execution risks across the entire silicon lifecycle.
• Serve as a primary technical interface for internal senior leadership and external customer platform engineering teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in silicon design engineering, performance architecture, or related technical domains.
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture, performance modeling, power analysis, and silicon debug.
• Proven experience leading large, global engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-performance computing, AI accelerators, GPUs, or large-scale SoCs.
• Background in both hardware and system/software performance optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex technical programs from concept through post-silicon execution.
• Prior experience interfacing with external customers or partners on silicon performance topics.
