Performance Expert

Responsibilities

• Instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength, conditioning, and resilience to ensure durability.
• Conduct training intake, registration, and development of customized training plans.
• Prepare, tailor, and facilitate training events, including the production and distribution of course materials.
• Assess training impact through surveys and provide After-Action Reviews (AAR) and quarterly data analysis to leadership.
• Provide tailored educational programs and workshops to help personnel achieve personal, professional, and family goals in demanding environments.
• Support the development of professional climates founded on mutual trust, cohesive teamwork, and critical thinking.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a specialized emphasis in sport or performance psychology.
• Proven teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military or Department of Defense (DOD) personnel.
• Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, and relevant regulations/policies.
• Ability to complete initial instructor certifications to ensure effective lesson delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications or memberships such as the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
• Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) or American Board of Sport Psychology (ABSP) credentials, or the ability to obtain them within one year of hire.
