About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and scale cohesive performance and development programs, including goal-setting, reviews, and calibration.
- Build simple, intuitive mechanisms for leaders that provide necessary business rigor without adding excessive process.
- Develop repeatable manager training models covering compliance, interviewing, and leadership development.
- Own the selection and management of L&D platforms to track and report on training effectiveness.
- Partner with People Business Partners and other Centers of Excellence to identify and address manager skill gaps.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Engineering to ensure program alignment with business and regulatory needs.
- Manage performance and development policy design, interpretation, and compliance with labor and employment laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in people operations, HR, or people program management.
- Proven track record of designing and scaling company-wide performance, development, or training programs.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and partnering with business leaders.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to optimize processes and communicate outcomes.
- Solid understanding of HR policies, labor and employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive program improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth technology companies, particularly in the automotive or autonomous vehicle industries.
- Experience scaling startups from early-stage to larger organizational structures.
- Hands-on experience with performance management systems, LMS/L&D platforms, and people analytics tools.
- Background in change management or organizational development.
- Experience working with large datasets.
