About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the accuracy and performance of the 3D localisation pipeline
  • Build metrics, ground truth collection processes, and automated evaluation tooling
  • Research, prototype, and deploy new localisation and sensor fusion techniques
  • Generalise the localisation pipeline across different camera systems and hardware
  • Process and analyse field data to identify failure modes and validate improvements

Requirements

  • Experience with camera-based localisation on moving robotic platforms
  • Strong sensor fusion fundamentals and real-time data processing on edge hardware
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with experience in Linux environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPS-denied navigation or localisation work
  • ROS/ROS2 development experience
  • Experience with drones or UAV platforms
