About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the accuracy and performance of the 3D localisation pipeline
- Build metrics, ground truth collection processes, and automated evaluation tooling
- Research, prototype, and deploy new localisation and sensor fusion techniques
- Generalise the localisation pipeline across different camera systems and hardware
- Process and analyse field data to identify failure modes and validate improvements
Requirements
- Experience with camera-based localisation on moving robotic platforms
- Strong sensor fusion fundamentals and real-time data processing on edge hardware
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with experience in Linux environments
Preferred Qualifications
- GPS-denied navigation or localisation work
- ROS/ROS2 development experience
- Experience with drones or UAV platforms
