PeopleSoft GL Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and support the PeopleSoft General Ledger (GL) module and its integration with other interfaces and modules
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and processes through interviews and prototyping
• Create configuration and design documents to support testing, production support, and knowledge transfer
• Evaluate customer needs and collaborate with technical staff to determine appropriate solutions
• Assist with system design, data migration reviews, and the development of test scripts and cases
• Partner with Finance and IT personnel to resolve issues quickly and ensure effective application delivery
• Provide ad-hoc reporting, data gathering, and feasibility studies to support project business justification

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a PeopleSoft Functional or Techno-functional role
• 2+ years of experience specifically with PeopleSoft GL module and nVision reporting
• Proven experience participating in at least one new PeopleSoft implementation
• Strong understanding of SQL and PeopleSoft reporting tools (Query and nVision)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Asset Management, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing modules
• Experience with OBIEE Tools and other Oracle products
• Experience with medium-to-large-scale PeopleSoft Financials implementations
• Conceptual knowledge of data modeling and database design
