About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive excellence in personnel transportation by ensuring seamless, safe, and efficient mobility services.
- Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, including conducting investigations into safety incidents and implementing improvement plans.
- Oversee contractor performance regarding technical, legal, and financial adherence to fleet management standards.
- Manage daily administrative lines and 24/7 production shift schedules to ensure zero-minute delays in logistical rotations.
- Optimize and audit transport routes, ensuring strict adherence to pre-classified pick-up points and prohibiting unauthorized stops.
- Monitor fleet health using real-time GPS tracking and telematics to audit vehicle speeds, route adherence, and mechanical quality.
- Administer a monthly Balanced Scorecard system to track driver performance, attendance, and behavioral infractions.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and compliance, ensuring all units meet safety requirements such as functional seat belts, speed limiters, and emergency equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in Fleet Management, Corporate Transportation Logistics, or mass transit operations.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role managing large-scale fleets and driver workforces.
- Proven experience working within heavy industrial complexes or large manufacturing environments.
- Mastery of fleet telematics, real-time GPS tracking systems, and route optimization.
- Deep understanding of managing third-party logistics via Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and scorecard structures.
- Fluent professional English (written and verbal) and a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in Fleet Management (e.g., CAFM).
- Advanced credentials in Corporate Fleet Safety, Defensive Driving, or OSHA.
