People Success Partner - Employee Relations

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end workplace investigations (intake, interviews, findings, and resolution) across US, Canada, UK, and Germany
• Coach people managers on performance documentation, effective feedback, and conducting difficult conversations
• Manage the full Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) lifecycle, ensuring consistent and legally compliant documentation
• Design and deliver mandatory compliance training programs, including sexual harassment prevention and workplace violence prevention
• Own the Tekion Employee Handbook and all associated policies, ensuring multi-state and multi-country compliance
• Partner with People Business Partners to identify management gaps and implement data-driven coaching interventions
• Maintain active case tracking and escalate high-risk matters to leadership with detailed risk assessments

Requirements

• 5–7 years of employee relations experience with a significant portfolio of complex investigations
• Proven experience coaching managers on performance management and proactive documentation
• Deep working knowledge of California employment law and multi-state requirements
• Experience owning or leading a full refresh of an employee handbook or corporate policy suite
• Ability to design and deliver engaging compliance or management training programs
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to remain grounded during difficult conversations with senior leaders
• Commitment to working in the Pleasanton, CA office five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or relevant employment law certification
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech startup environment
• Multi-country ER experience across US, Canada, and EMEA
• Familiarity with Workday and Emtrain platforms
