Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviews, and employment offers
- Maintain recruitment databases and track recruitment statistics
- Update human resource information systems and benefit systems with employee data
- Complete workplace investigations through the Human Rights Committee or management requests
- Support safety initiatives and reviews with the local team
- Coordinate employee meetings, orientations, feedback, and exit interviews
- Plan and execute employee engagement events
- Assist in the development and rollout of Human Resources policies and procedures
- Provide guidance to employees and management regarding performance management and conflict resolution
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in human resources or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of HR experience focusing on employee/labor relations, recruitment, and safety
- Strong working knowledge of HR legislation and labor laws
- Experience with ADP or similar HCM systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
