People Partner, Japan & APAC

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary People Partner for the Japan & APAC region, serving as the first point of contact for leaders across various levels and functions.
• Partner with GTM leaders (Sales, Marketing, and Product Support) to align talent strategy with regional business priorities.
• Coach senior leaders to strengthen leadership capability, team effectiveness, and performance in a high-growth environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional People teams, including Compensation, Recruiting, L&D, and People Relations, to deliver high-impact initiatives.
• Drive regional people strategy by evolving team structures, roles, and operating models to support scaling.
• Leverage data and organizational insights to improve team health and address organizational friction points.
• Explore and embed AI tools to enhance people analytics and manager enablement across the region.

Requirements

• 8+ years of HR or People experience, including significant experience as an HR Business Partner supporting senior leaders.
• Multi-jurisdiction APAC experience with practical knowledge of employment law and cultural norms across the region.
• Generalist capability spanning Employee Relations, Operations, and strategic business partnering.
• Experience partnering with GTM or revenue-focused organizations (Sales, Marketing, or Product Support).
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environments.
• Experience supporting globally distributed teams within a shared People Partner model.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in high-growth SaaS or product-led companies.
• Fluency in Japanese.
