About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR presence for the UK business, providing practical and legally sound guidance to managers.
- Own and manage end-to-end employee relations (ER) cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation tracking, role changes, and offboarding.
- Support the design and delivery of the UK performance review cycle and monitor performance trends.
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and produce regular people reporting (headcount, attrition, etc.).
- Own the monthly payroll input process for the UK to ensure all changes are captured accurately.
- Ensure all people activities comply with UK employment legislation and maintain updated HR policy documentation.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, specifically covering ER, payroll coordination, and people partnering.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience using an HRIS such as Personio or HiBob.
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle complex ER cases with commercial acumen.
