Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle, ensuring seamless and compliant onboarding and offboarding
• Serve as the owner of the HRIS (Rippling), managing employee data, workflows, and reporting
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution
• Maintain compensation frameworks, including salary bands and equity guidelines
• Lead the company's performance management process and support managers through coaching
• Manage employee lifecycle changes such as promotions, transfers, and restructurings
• Own employee benefits programs and manage broker and third-party administrator relationships
• Develop people analytics and reporting to provide leadership with workforce insights
• Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related role in a high-growth startup
• Strong operational depth in onboarding, benefits, performance management, and HR systems
• Experience managing HRIS platforms, preferably Rippling
• Familiarity with compensation structures and equity programs in a startup environment
• Strong analytical skills for building people metrics and workforce dashboards
• Deep understanding of US employment law and multi-state compliance
• High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion
