People Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary, solutions-focused point of contact for all EMEA People queries via Jira, triaging and escalating complex issues.
• Draft, issue, and track all regional employee lifecycle documentation, including contracts, addenda, and terminations, with high accuracy.
• Own end-to-end data integrity in Workday across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding.
• Enforce strict operational compliance and governance, ensuring all necessary cross-functional approvals (Finance, Legal, etc.) are secured.
• Serve as the primary operational interface for Payroll, IT, Legal, and Security to manage routine administrative workflows.
• Identify recurring query trends or data gaps to optimize internal knowledge bases and improve the employee experience.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Coordination, or a similar shared-services role.
• Full professional fluency in both English and German (written and spoken).
• Strong foundational understanding of German labor law and regional HR compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering 100% accurate documentation.
