About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive business partner and advisor to managers in France, guiding people strategies and legally sound actions.
- Manage employee relations, including disciplinary processes, grievance procedures, and internal investigations.
- Serve as an employee advocate, facilitating conflict resolution and guiding career progression.
- Coordinate social dialogue and compliance, specifically managing the Comité Social et Économique (CSE) and consultation agendas.
- Oversee health and safety governance, including DUERP risk-mapping and occupational health oversight.
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll input, benefits administration, and compliant offboarding.
- Maintain data integrity within Workday and ensure compliance with French labor standards.
Requirements
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Employment Law, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in an Employee Relations or HR Generalist role in France.
- Mandatory experience coordinating with French Works Councils (CSE).
- Deep knowledge of French employment law (Code du Travail) and collective bargaining agreements.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and Workday.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude or Gemini) to optimize HR workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience transitioning from a legal background into an operational HR track.
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and navigate complex crisis situations.
