About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, and offboarding, to ensure a high-quality experience.
- Manage and evolve the HRIS, maintaining accurate employee records and supporting system migrations.
- Build and maintain employee-facing resource pages and documentation.
- Partner with Finance and People leadership on payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support immigration processes by coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to automate and scale workflows using AI and modern tooling.
- Lead cross-functional People programs, including engagement initiatives and policy updates.
- Support talent planning and headcount management by maintaining accurate workforce data.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a related generalist role, ideally in a fast-growing tech company.
- Hands-on experience managing HRIS and people systems (e.g., Rippling, ADP, BambooHR, or Workday).
- Experience leveraging AI tools and building automated workflows to improve efficiency.
- Solid understanding of US employment compliance, including I-9 requirements and state/federal regulations.
- Experience supporting immigration processes and managing visa/work authorization documentation.
- Experience administering leave management programs (medical, parental, etc.) and knowledge of applicable laws.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
