People Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain Rippling as the source of truth for people data across the employee lifecycle
• Own global employee onboarding end to end for a cross-functional, distributed workforce
• Respond to inquiries from employees and partners in payroll, finance, legal, IT, and recruiting
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and Legal to build an interconnected, scalable people operations system
• Manage global payroll, benefits administration, open enrollment, and compliance using Rippling
• Support employment verifications, documentation, and immigration matters in partnership with legal
• Measure and improve the employee experience by tracking operational metrics
• Leverage AI and automation to eliminate repetitive administrative work
• Bring people operations functions currently handled by external partners in-house

Requirements

• 5+ years in people operations or HR at a high-growth startup
• Deep proficiency with Rippling (HRIS, payroll, benefits, devices, and system access)
• Experience supporting a globally distributed workforce and navigating international compliance
• Ability to deconstruct and rebuild people processes to reduce overhead
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex benefits or payroll changes
• High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
