People Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process, including post-offer communication, I-9 verification, and system setup in Rippling and Deel
• Administer Rippling as the primary system owner, maintaining data accuracy and optimizing workflows
• Manage the benefits program, including vendor relationships and quarterly reporting
• Ensure HR compliance across state and federal requirements, including policy audits and handbook maintenance
• Support payroll accuracy and coordinate visa and immigration matters
• Run the full offboarding process and synthesize exit feedback for leadership
• Build and maintain self-service resources to reduce repeat inquiries

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a People Operations role
• End-to-end HRIS administration experience (Rippling or Deel experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of state and federal employment law
• Proven ownership of onboarding and offboarding processes
• Experience managing benefits programs and working with a PEO
• Track record of building documented, repeatable processes
• Strong communication skills and patience for fielding employee questions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI tools or self-service resources for HR
• Prior experience in a high-growth startup environment
