People Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end people operations for the Bangalore hub and support global processes across the US, EU, UK, and UAE
• Design and implement structured onboarding and offboarding programs across multiple geographies
• Manage HRIS (Rippling) rollout and ongoing administration for India, ensuring data integrity and compliance
• Build and maintain employment compliance frameworks for India, including labor law, benefits, and statutory requirements
• Develop and operationalize performance management processes, including review cycles and feedback mechanisms
• Partner with legal and finance on employment-related matters such as entity setup and benefits benchmarking
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues in the Bangalore hub
• Build foundational people analytics, including headcount tracking and attrition analysis, to inform leadership decisions

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in people operations or HR, specifically within high-growth technology companies
• Deep expertise in India employment law, HR compliance, and statutory requirements
• Proven track record of building people operations processes from the ground up
• Experience managing or implementing an HRIS (Rippling experience is a plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an async-heavy, globally distributed environment
• Ability to operate with high autonomy and build frameworks without a pre-existing playbook

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting people operations across multiple countries (US, EU, UK, UAE)
• Prior experience at a fintech or financial services company navigating regulatory complexity
• Experience with PEO/EOR arrangements and contractor compliance across jurisdictions
• Experience building people analytics and reporting frameworks from scratch
