About the Company

Exa is building a search engine for the AI era. Our Search API currently powers Agents, Fortune 500s and AI labs as we transform an industry that hasn’t been disrupted since the 90s. We're a largely SF-based team of ~100 from Harvard, MIT, Meta, Google Research, ex-founders & dropouts alike.

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding for every new Singapore hire from offer to first day
• Help relocating employees orient on the ground regarding housing and neighborhoods
• Coordinate with global payroll providers and employment counsel for work permits
• Own benefits administration and health insurance coordination for the Singapore team
• Manage office logistics and facilities as the office expands
• Maintain accurate people data and support accounting/compliance for expense management
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, visas, and logistics
• Build runbooks and systems to support scaling
• Organize company events, offsites, and team moments

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in people ops, HR, office management, or startup operations
• Familiarity with Singapore employment practices and MOM requirements
• Exceptional organizational skills and vendor management
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• High bias toward action and independent problem-solving
• Strong ownership mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a top-tier startup or scale-up
• Experience scaling a company through rapid growth
• Experience coordinating across multiple countries or time zones
