About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of support for employees, managing the ticketing system and providing empathetic answers to HR inquiries.
  • Own operations for key employee lifecycle milestones, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain HRIS and related systems to ensure they serve as accurate sources of truth.
  • Manage the immigration program by guiding employees through transfers and renewals in partnership with external counsel.
  • Champion compliance by maintaining required documentation and partnering with legal teams on filings and audits.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to help the People team scale effectively.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in People Operations, HR Shared Services, or an HR Generalist role.
  • Hands-on experience managing core workflows within an HRIS and using a ticketing system.
  • Experience managing employment compliance tasks, such as I-9 audits.
  • Experience coordinating visa documentation in partnership with immigration counsel.
  • Experience writing and maintaining internal HR documentation and FAQs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience running performance review cycles.
  • Experience with benefits administration and understanding of leave of absence processes (FMLA, ADA).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Greenhouse, Lattice, Rippling, or Jira.
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and automation to improve workflows.
