About the Company

Etched is building hardware for frontier intelligence. We co-design chips, racks, software, and manufacturing to deliver best-in-class throughput and latency across both prefill and decode workloads. Our first products are heavily focused on inference.

Responsibilities

• Own Rippling and other People systems, including configuration, integrations, permissions, and workflow automation
• Lead implementation of new People tools and ensure data integrity
• Own payroll operations and partner with Finance to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Administer benefits programs, manage vendors, and resolve operational inquiries
• Own HR operational compliance, including employee records, contractor administration, and audits
• Build dynamic dashboards to visualize the employee lifecycle and org health

Requirements

• Process-oriented mindset with experience building scalable systems
• Experience in high-ownership, high-pressure environments (finance, consulting, or startups)
• Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills
• Proficiency in working with data and building live dashboards
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• High sense of ownership and initiative

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling), payroll platforms, or compliance solutions
• Knowledge of employment law, immigration, or cross-border employment
• Familiarity with the AI ecosystem or semiconductors
