About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish People policy and process standards by authoring, reviewing, and maintaining global and local frameworks.
- Oversee AI-readiness and ethical governance within the People domain, ensuring compliance with emerging AI regulations and data privacy.
- Partner with the People Solutions team to implement human-in-the-loop overrides and ethical safeguards for automated processes.
- Design, implement, and maintain a Risk and Controls Framework for People processes aligned with global compliance standards.
- Track changes in employment law, GDPR, and AI regulations to proactively update company policies.
- Conduct regular internal mini-audits and spot-checks to ensure adherence to documented standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external People audits and regulatory reporting requests.
- Manage documentation requests from supervisory bodies, labor ministries, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
- 2–3 years of specific experience in HR Compliance, HR Audit, or People Operations Governance.
- Proven experience drafting and maintaining HR policies, employee handbooks, and SOPs.
- Deep understanding of GDPR, regional employment standards, and foundational knowledge of the EU AI Act.
- Ability to understand technical data flows within an HRIS.
- Fluency in English and professional working proficiency in German.
