People Generalist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, providing support on routine issues, policy interpretation, and documentation.
• Support payroll processing activities with high accuracy and maintain precise employee records and job changes.
• Manage benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and assisting employees with inquiries.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts by managing interview schedules, candidate communications, and proactive talent sourcing via LinkedIn and other channels.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding administration to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Maintain organized people processes, templates, and trackers to support HR operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, or a related role.
• Proven experience in employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Experience with recruiting coordination and talent sourcing.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, or startup-like environment.
• Direct experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Background working in operationally intensive industries such as food, distribution, logistics, or supply chain.
