About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive a people-first culture by supporting HR operations, including recruiting, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
- Partner with leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and candidate communication to interview coordination and onboarding.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers regarding performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience and accurate documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across a multi-state workforce.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and documentation with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive HR, people operations, or recruiting experience in a professional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency with technology, including experience with ATS, payroll, or HRIS systems.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting both exempt and non-exempt employee populations.
- Experience working with multi-state employee populations.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Familiarity with JazzHR and isolved.
