About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide frontline People & Culture support and counsel to Distribution Centre employees and leaders.
- Support leaders through coaching on performance improvement, ER/IR cases, recruitment, and succession planning.
- Manage union relationships by acting as a key point of contact, managing disputes, and supporting Enterprise Agreement application.
- Partner with Health & Safety to support injury management, return to work planning, and workers' compensation processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage people transactions within Workday (HRIS).
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to recommend improvements to the employee experience.
- Support the delivery of annual people programs, including compensation reviews and employee engagement surveys.
Requirements
- Qualification in Human Resource Management.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar People & Culture or HR Business Partner position.
- Strong Industrial Relations (IR) experience, specifically dealing with unions.
- Proven experience working with Enterprise Agreements.
- Solid understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations.
- Experience managing employee records using an HRIS (e.g., Workday).
- Strong organizational, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
