People & Culture Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline People & Culture support and counsel to Distribution Centre employees and leaders.
• Support leaders through coaching on performance improvement, ER/IR cases, recruitment, and succession planning.
• Manage union relationships by acting as a key point of contact, managing disputes, and supporting Enterprise Agreement application.
• Partner with Health & Safety to support injury management, return to work planning, and workers' compensation processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and manage people transactions within Workday (HRIS).
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to recommend improvements to the employee experience.
• Support the delivery of annual people programs, including compensation reviews and employee engagement surveys.

Requirements

• Qualification in Human Resource Management.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar People & Culture or HR Business Partner position.
• Strong Industrial Relations (IR) experience, specifically dealing with unions.
• Proven experience working with Enterprise Agreements.
• Solid understanding of Labor Law and employment regulations.
• Experience managing employee records using an HRIS (e.g., Workday).
• Strong organizational, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
