People & Culture Assist Advisor

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all employment queries from Managers and Employees
• Respond to written and oral enquiries regarding Tier 1 HR matters in a timely and professional manner
• Partner with People & Culture colleagues to provide accurate information aligned with legislation and policy
• Manage people-related documentation, records, and correspondence with high attention to detail
• Manage workload with accountability, knowing when to collaborate or escalate matters

Requirements

• Human Resources or business qualifications (or currently working towards them)
• Previous experience in Human Resources, ideally within HR Shared Services
• Understanding of industrial compliance including FairWork, NES, and Awards/EAs
• Experience supporting injury management processes, such as fitness for work and inherent requirements
• Knowledge of Flexible Work Arrangements in line with legislation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable
