About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide expert People & Culture (P&C) and Employment Relations (ER) advice to business leaders and employees
- Lead and support investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including onboarding and offboarding functions
- Prepare employment agreements, variations, and various P&C documentation
- Coach leaders to build capability in people management and best-practice ER
- Support workforce planning, succession discussions, and organisational development initiatives
- Contribute to policy development, review, and implementation
- Drive continuous improvement across P&C processes, systems, and the overall employee experience
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in HR or employment relations
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment law and confidence handling ER issues
- Relevant HR or employment relations qualification
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong administrative and computer skills
- Must be a New Zealand citizen
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, ACC, and MOJ Criminal History checks
