About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary functional administrator and HRIS product owner for Workday HCM across Core, Compensation, Talent, Absence, and Benefits.
- Own the end-to-end People systems SDLC, including requirements gathering, PRD creation, UAT, and hypercare.
- Manage semi-annual Workday release cycles, including feature evaluation and impact assessment.
- Architect and deploy AI-native tools and LLM-based automations across the HR technology stack.
- Maintain all People system integrations (Workday, Greenhouse, VNDLY, ServiceNow) to ensure high data integrity.
- Act as the HR Business Process Owner for SOX documentation and compliance.
- Design the HR service catalog and self-service channel strategy to optimize the employee experience.
- Manage Greenhouse ATS configuration and the VNDLY contingent workforce platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM administration as a system owner or product owner in a regulated environment.
- Proven experience with Greenhouse ATS and VNDLY (or equivalent VMS).
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD configuration.
- Strong knowledge of SOX ITGC compliance and user access controls.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and deploying AI/LLM tools or conversational AI platforms (e.g., Moveworks).
- Ability to lead structured discovery and translate business requirements into technical design documents.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to work regularly from SF and Palo Alto offices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Databricks or SQL for building people analytics pipelines.
- Experience with low-code automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Cowork.
- Deep understanding of responsible AI governance frameworks.
