People Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Act as a credible, trusted advisor and thoughtful challenger to senior leaders, providing clarity and perspective
• Coach leaders to proactively identify workforce needs and address people challenges
• Co-design people strategies to strengthen engagement, retention, and client outcomes
• Lead and support change and transformation initiatives, including structural reviews and role design
• Facilitate workforce planning, leadership alignment, and capability-building workshops
• Contribute to the People Function strategy, projects, and continuous improvement agenda
• Collaborate with People Advisory and People & Performance teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in HR or a related field (preferred)
• Extensive experience in an HR generalist role supporting senior leaders
• Strong operational knowledge of employment legislation, EAs, Modern Awards, and NDIS compliance
• Proven ability to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders
• Experience advising leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
• Experience in change management, including organisation design, job design, and consultation
• Strong critical thinking and data-driven insights to navigate complex environments
• Experience working with unionised workforces is a must
