People Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on team dynamics, leadership effectiveness, and organizational health
• Translate business strategy into people plans to support scale and performance
• Partner with Finance and Talent Acquisition on headcount planning
• Coach managers in feedback, communication, and decision-making
• Drive adoption of core People programs including performance cycles and compensation planning
• Utilize generative AI tools to automate workflows and synthesize engagement data
• Build and execute inclusive change management plans

Requirements

• 3-5 years of progressive experience in People or HR roles
• At least 2 years partnering directly with business leaders in high-growth environments
• Hands-on experience integrating generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) into HR workflows
• Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment law
• Proficiency with BambooHR, Culture Amp, Greenhouse, Notion, and Google Suite
• Proven ability to coach managers and support organizational change

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal HR education or designation such as SHRM-CP
• Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple time zones
