About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with business heads and stakeholders to support strategic initiatives, growth, and business transformation
- Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and redundancy processes
- Provide guidance on Indian employment legislation and ensure local policy compliance
- Drive projects related to talent planning, learning and development, and employee engagement
- Support the optimization, deployment, and adoption of Workday HRIS
- Coordinate local HR audit and due diligence activities
- Support mobility, relocation, and health and safety initiatives
- Ensure accurate and effective execution of monthly payroll processes
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Strong working knowledge of Indian employment law and its practical application
- Experience working within a multinational or complex matrixed organization
- Proficiency with Workday HRIS
- Proven stakeholder management and consultancy skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
