People and Culture Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary P&C partner for Defence contracts, delivering end-to-end support and aligning strategies with business objectives.
• Support security clearance processes and DISP reporting in compliance with AGSVA protocols.
• Partner with leaders to embed HR strategies into operational plans and drive employee engagement.
• Lead culture improvement initiatives and support team development through training and personal development plans.
• Manage employee relations issues and provide coaching to the management team.
• Support recruitment, workforce planning, and performance review processes.
• Drive change management and continuous improvement initiatives across contract sites.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, legislation, and Defence standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior HR Leadership role, preferably within the Defence sector.
• Experience in leadership development initiatives to build future talent pipelines.
• Experience working across multi-site and remote site locations.
• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Must be eligible for a Baseline AGSVA Clearance (at minimum).
