People and Culture Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships with business partners to influence decisions
• Design and implement HR policies and procedures to improve productivity
• Lead change initiatives and provide guidance to managers and employees
• Manage full-cycle People programs including onboarding, performance, and L&D
• Partner with leaders to identify talent gaps and develop succession plans
• Drive performance management processes and provide coaching to managers
• Monitor employee engagement and manage key People metrics
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and human rights legislation

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner
• Experience supporting an hourly population in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution
• Strong understanding of provincial health, safety, and employment legislation
• Excellent coaching, conflict resolution, and workplace investigation skills
• Proficiency in Google Suite and HR tools (HRIS, ATS)
• Experience with Workday is an asset
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, ambiguous environment
